The reason paint fails to adhere is because the surface to which it was applied was dirty, wet or was loose itself. At Pro West Painting we make sure your paint surface is clean, dry, free from grease, oils and flaking or loose paint.

Before
We will inspect the paint itself looking for cracks, chips, peeling and fading and examine the entire house including corners, windows, doors, porches, posts, roof lines and trims. Over time, standing water and constant sun are especially damaging to paint, so any affected areas must be given extra attention.

On this house we had to hand scrape every inch and caulk between every board. Not only did this help the paint adhere properly it also helped preserve and insulate this old farm house. Saving the home owner money in heating and cooling costs

Interior Preparation and care of your home
At Pro West painting we treat your home as if it were our own. Before we start any painting we make sure your belongings are moved, dropped in clean plastic and all floors are dropped securely. Tiny pin and larger nail holes are filled with drywall compound, we do this at no additional cost. These are just some of the necessary steps we do every time we paint any surface. We believe Meticulous preparation is the only way to ensure a lasting paint job.
We use low-VOC, low–odor paint that dries quickly, is very durable, covers well, and is washable. Because the paint fumes are not as strong with these products you can start enjoying your newly painted house sooner.
